It’s been an exciting week for CBR! Our special pro bono client, Helping Other People Eat Inc. (H.O.P.E.), recognized us for “outstanding PR support.” CBR selects nonprofit organizations each year to which we lend our enthusiasm and expertise.
It always puts a little extra pep in our step when a quick phone call is made or note of appreciation is sent for a job well done. Thank you, H.O.P.E.!
So, here’s a little background:
Back in July, CBR staffer Brittany Hobbs brought the project to our attention, and we were eager to get involved and support such a great cause. Brittany was particularly excited to be a part of it, as her close friend Allison Kreiger Walsh is the executive director for the organization.
The video, called “Get R.E.A.L. – Realistic Expectations and Attitudes for Life,” premiered at the Plaza Cinema Café in Downtown Orlando and was distributed to more than 7,000 schools throughout the state. Aimed at students, the video explored eating disorders with a focus on enhancing self-esteem and promoting positive body image.
We even had another client, Classic Audi, jump on board for the cause as one of the sponsors of the Golf for H.O.P.E. Tournament, an annual fundraiser for the organization.
